Kisii County Governor,H.E James Ongwae, launched the renovation and refurbishment of Suneka Market in Bonchari Sub County. A contractor is already on site working on the project that will ease the suffering of traders in the area.
Renovations that will involve construction of the ground floor, stalls in the first floor and a new roof will take six months to complete. The Governor said that his government is building new markets at Itibo (Bobasi Sub County) and Marani (Kitutu Chache North) along with the modernization of Daraja Mbili market.
