CHIEF OFFICER - ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT & DEVOLVED UNITS

Mr Geoffrey Nyanusi Mogire is the Chief Officer for Administration, Enforcement & Devolved Units in the department of Administration, Corporate Services & Stakeholder Management.

Before joining the County, he was the Executive Secretary of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Kisii South Branch. He worked at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) as a teacher at Itibo Boys Secondary School, Kisii South and at Rianyabaro Centre of Excellence. As a trade unionist, he served as National Executive Council (NEC) Member of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT).

He also worked with InformAction Limited as Visual Civic Education Manager; USAID Kenya as the County Coordinator of the Yes Youth Can Youth Initiative; National Youth Lobby for Reforms as the Governance Programme Manager and was a Board Member of the Centre for Community Dialogue (CODE).

He holds a Bachelors of Education Degree in English and Literature from Catholic University of East Africa; a Diploma in Advanced Study of Non Violent Conflict from the Fletcher School of Diplomacy, Tufts University, Massachusetts (USA); Diploma in Political Mobilization and Organization from the Fredrich Ebert Stiftung Political Leadership Development Programme Institute, Nairobi and a Diploma in Primary Teachers Education from Mosoriot TTC.
